The winners of the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2020 were virtually announced on December 10, 2020 during the PRSE. Companies could compete for the prizes in 7 different categories.
The Recycling Machinery Innovation category was won by Caroda BV and MAS- Maschinen- und Anlagenbau Schulz for their innovation Gel-less film. The innovation improves the effectiveness and efficiency of the plastic film recycling process.
The winners received a trophy with a base consisting of a 3D printed base made from 100% recycled ABS plastic car dashboards and the multi-colored part made from compressed HPDE bottle caps found during a beach cleanup.
